🌱 Food Print: Given that my previous work is confidential, I've found a creative outlet in my free time – developing an app that doubles as a skill sharpener and a stage for my skills. This project is a blend of my passions for sustainability and design.

Highlights

For the past two years, I've been part of many exciting projects that have taken the daily activities of my clients to the next level while promoting sustainable practices.

💨 Award-winning Dust Control Solution:

Project in which we managed to solve a company’s potential close-down while making them win an award in the process.

Dust control App - Web and Mobile
  • Problem:
  • The logistics department of a steel manufacturer used water tank trucks to water the entire site and reduce airborne dust produced by daily operations. However, the dust levels remained high, and it was difficult to track the trucks' activities to determine better ways to act on the issue.

  • Objective:
  • To provide visibility and control over the activities of trucks and their water usage.

  • Solution:
  • Cross-platform IoT solution that detects and controls water usage through sensors and provides real-time information on the trucks' activities, location, and water usage. As a result of using this app, the company's water consumption was reduced by 80%, resulting in an award for innovation and environmental commitment.

🔧 Fleet Maintenance Solution:

Project in which we transformed manual pre-start checks into a seamless digital system, improving operational efficiency and enabling real-time fleet management.

Maintenance App - Web and Mobile
  • Problem:
  • The client used to provide asset operators with paper pre-start checks that they needed to complete every day manually before operating an asset. The amount of paperwork generated made it difficult to keep assets in working order and many remained inactive or were used even if they were not up to it, which worsened the asset's conditions, impacted performance, and imposed risks on operators' safety.

  • Objective:
  • To digitalize the pre-start check process to guarantee the working state of the entire fleet and improve efficiency.

  • Solution:
  • Cross-platform solution made of a mobile app to complete pre-start checks digitally and a web dashboard with real-time information highlighting urgent issues that require immediate attention. This allowed for a quick overview of the fleet's condition at all times, reduced asset downtime, and ensured operations continuity.

About me

I didn't always work as a UX Designer. I began my career as an English-Spanish Translator and English Teacher in Argentina. My love for travel led me to New Zealand, and what was meant to be a one-year trip turned into 10 years...😬 I guess you could say I was having a good time.

While in New Zealand, I began working at a pet shop where I became the senior pet groomer ✃🐩.

Eventually, my love for design and communication led me to UX and I started taking courses on front-end development and UX design until I finally landed my first job as a Junior UX Designer in Christchurch, New Zealand.

My skills are:

I am a problem solver. I enjoy diving into complex data and transforming it into valuable, easily understandable information.

Outside of work, I love to go on hikes and take pictures of landscapes, dance salsa, hop around different coffee shops, and save Instagram recipes that I never actually make 😅.
